DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY &

CHILDREN SERVICES (DFCS)

A DFCS investigation can pop up unexpectedly during a custody dispute.  The manner in which a parent responds to the investigator can have a critical impact on the outcome of their custody case and the wellbeing of the children involved.

If you are a parent or family member of a child involved in a proceeding with the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS or DFACS), you want an attorney on your side to protect your rights.

DFCS cases can be long and drawn out, requiring extensive evidence and testimony from counselors and experts.

If you are a parent seeking the return of your child in a DFCS proceeding, or you have child charged in the juvenile court system, I will work closely with you to identify the issues set forth by the Department.  I will handle legal matters in your attempt to protect your children.  Together, we will develop a strategy to address the Department's concerns, so that you can reduce the risk of losing your children again.
